Amtico Cleaning and Maintenance

Below are the recommended cleaning and maintenance products to use with Amtico Flooring.

After reading the instructions, prepare a solution of dilute Amtico Floor Cleaner.
Apply to floor with a spray bottle and mop OR a bucket and damp mop.
Rinse the mop frequently, and if using a bucket, change the solution when it becomes dirty.

Use micro fibre mop heads as these are excellent at cleaning between beveled tiles.
Scuffmarks that are not removed during routine cleaning may be gently rubbed with a soft scouring pad.

Amtico Guarantee

Amtico products come with a 25 year residential warranty. This means if your Amtico floor pattern or colour wears out within 25 years (normal use) it will be replaced for free. In order to qualify the floor must have been installed by an approved retailer/installer and the recommended adhesive must be used. The floor should also be regularly maintained using approved products and reasonable precautions taken to prevent damage. The floor must also be registered upon purchase.

Amtico Installation

Amtico Cleaning and Maintenance

The amount of cleaning you will need to do depends on your lifestyle (the foot traffic in your home) and the floor colour. A weekly wipe over is usually enough for normal use. If the floor has been dressed, the finish will need to be stripped off (see Amtico floorcare stripping) and reapplied (see Amtico floorcare dressing) from time to time. please follow the product instructions carefully.
