The Benefits of V4 Bevelled Edge Floors

15.06.2021

In this article we explain how V4 bevelled edges help to greatly enhance the appearance of your flooring.

Bevel-edged floors have a distinctive "V groove" shape at the edge of the boards, which leaves a small gap between each board when installed. For example, with a V4 bevelled floor, this edge would go around all four sides of each tile or plank. You can find this edging style in flooring like the luxury vinyl Moduleo collection and within the Berry Alloc laminate range.

V4 bevelled edges can greatly enhance the appearance of wood and stone-effect designs like those found within the Berry Alloc Ocean V4 range. This allows the flooring to deliver an authentic look and feel of a natural wood or stone surface at a cost effective price.

The Cadenza, Ocean* and Chateau ranges contain designs with the V4 bevelled edging and matching beading as well, which will help you fully fit the room to your specifications.

Moduleo Luxury Vinyl

The Moduleo collection has hundreds of wood and stone patterns available, all with distinct V4 bevelled edges. The edging style gives all of the Moduleo luxury vinyl tiles and planks an added sense of uniqueness and character.

The unique and attractive designs of Moduleo flooring offer plenty of possibilities for any room in your home.

*There is another example of bevelled edging, which is found in the Berry Alloc Ocean range.

The Berry Alloc retro laminate designs are bevelled in a slightly different way.The tiles are cut at a 90-degree angle to fit together snuggly, creating a smooth and consistent pattern on your floor.

There is also another unique style of bevelled edging.

Micro Bevelled Edge Flooring

Micro bevelled edging like that found in the Universal Click collection contains very small bevels that define each plank. A micro bevelled edge makes each plank feel distinctive but is subtle enough so that the flooring blends more easily into the background.
